FP7 Mirage: The MIRAGE project is working towards next generation of optical interconnects for Datacenter applications. The three-year research program aims to develop breakthrough photonic integration technology enabling terabit capacities in optical interconnect links. The consortium brings together seven partners from across the value chain comprising university research centers and leading companies from several European countries.

FP7 ASTRON: ASTRON (Adaptive Software defined Terabit tRansceiver for flexible Optical Networks) aims to design and develop an integrated optical transceiver (Tx/Rx) that will enable the wide and cost-efficient deployment of flexible core and access networks.
